Position Summary:

The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in delivering high-quality soccer training to young athletes in Bridge LA’s after-school and community programs. This role involves assisting in training sessions, mentoring players, and contributing to the overall development of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and conducting training sessions.
  • Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players.
  • Support the Head Coach in team management and game preparation.
  • Help ensure a safe and engaging environment for all participants.
  • Contribute to the development of endurance, flexibility, and injury prevention programs.
  • Mentor interns and volunteers by sharing coaching knowledge and best practices.
  • Participate in community outreach events and program expansion initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Coaching experience at the youth level preferred.
  • Soccer playing experience at the high school, collegiate, or professional level.
  •  U.S. Soccer coaching license or relevant certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Passion for soccer and youth development.

Benefits and Pay:

  •  Pay range $25-$35 per hour.
  • Part-time only.
  •  No other benefits offered.
  •  Employment will be as an independent contractor (1099 employee).
